Named after one of British Columbia’s premiers, Davie street in Vancouver Downtown / West End is amazing place to take photos.
I lived one block from there, and spent a lot of time there walking, shopping, eating .
There are Grocery stores next to bars, restaurants (Indian, Italian, Vietnamese, Mongolian, Mexican, Japanese, Greek, and others; Takis’ taverna serves the best Greek food in downtown) next to Adult stores, Flower shops next to Pharmacies, all kind of small convenience stores, Barber shops, Pets supply stores, Hotels, Residential buildings, Dry Cleaning services, Dollar stores, small Furniture stores, Liquor stores, and all kind of other stores. Davie street is place where you can find whatever you need.
This set of pictures is a little conglomerate of my memories (shops, restaurants) and candid photos of all kind of people who can be seen there; old, young, gay, straight, rich, poor …
They are living in perfect harmony.
